Delta-8 THC Is Bigger, Better, and Legal In Texas
You know the saying; everything is bigger in Texas. There’s so much to love about the Lone Star state, and one thing is definitely for sure, the folks down there don’t mess around. With Delta-8 THC growing in popularity all across the country, sales of this new, novel, and absolutely wonderful hemp-derived cannabinoid are booming. People everywhere love the fact that they can enjoy a chill, relaxing buzz without worrying about law enforcement. It really is a great time to be alive.
Unfortunately, as we here at Diamond CBD have been predicting for a while now, a few state legislatures have decided to rile up the voters in preparation for campaign season. After all, nothing looks better on a campaign mailer or at the local state representative debate than when representative so-and-so tells the crowd how he or she saved us all from the scourge that is… hemp? Well, that’s politicians for you — always a nail in search of a hammer.
Earlier this year, the great state of Texas was all set to do the same thing, but Texas has been nothing if not independent. And thanks to some free thinkers down there who love freedom, Delta-8 THC remains free, for now at least.
The issue was Texas House Bill 2593, which was all set to ban Delta-8 THC along with a few other forms of THC — including our new favorite, Delta-10 THC. As you may recall, when Congress went ahead and passed the Farm Bill back in 2018, they legalized hemp in the United States of America. You remember — the USA, land of the free, home of the brave. A country where we’re supposed to have the freedom to do what we want when we want to do it.
Well, at the very last minute, Texas came through. Word on the street is, when the Texas State Legislature was set to vote on the bill, the provision banning Delta-8 THC was stricken. So what does that mean? It means, like just about every other state in the union, Texas has free, unimpeded access to one of the greatest new cannabinoids on the planet. Folks in the Lone Star State can now enjoy the finest low-key buzz available on the mainland — Delta-8 THC.
As they say, everything is bigger in Texas.
Is Delta-8 THC Different Than Delta-9 (or Delta-10)?
One of the reasons that so many politicians are sticking their noses into the matter of Delta-8 THC is because they worry it’s too similar to Delta-8 THC. But they shouldn’t be because Delta- anything has never harmed a single soul on this earth in the history of humankind. But that’s beside the point. Because, while both cannabinoids are very similar, they are also very different. There’s a reason that Delta-8 THC is legal right now.
In other words, tell your state legislature to chill.
Delta-8 THC and its more famous cousin, Delta-9 THC (known among the kids these days as cannabis), cause users to experience a psychotropic high. They both interact with the endocannabinoid system, and to a certain degree, the CB1 receptors. But that’s where the similarities end.
See, Delta-9 is a very intense high. In fact, it can cause users to feel a bit paranoid and anxious as well. That’s why it’s always best used in moderation. Delta-8 THC, on the other hand, is a much more subtle and smooth experience. Unlike its cousin, there’s no paranoia or anxiety. Delta-8 THC can be enjoyed throughout the day without worry. Now, we’re not saying to show up to work after using Delta-8, just that it’s a much more chill product.
“Plenty of clinical and anecdotal evidence points to delta-9-THC having intoxicating effects when consumed via inhalation or ingestion,” noted Weedmaps. “We know much less about the effects of delta-8-THC. Some say delta-8-THC produces a milder, clearer high than delta-9-THC even at higher doses.”
Still, we do know both cannabinoids are safe. And we know Delta-10 THC is safe as well. That cannabinoid has a more energizing effect, with a sativa-like high. But your local representative doesn’t know the difference. They just want to get elected next term again.
When It Comes To Delta-8, Go Big Like Texas
Right now, it seems that everyone in Texas loves Delta-8 THC. The truth is, everyone across America loves Delta-8. According to some reports, people of all ages, from folks in their 20s to seniors, have found ways to enjoy Delta-8 THC, whether it’s through edibles, vaping, oils, or more. And here at Diamond CBD, that’s what we love about this new cannabinoid.
“It provides the entire entourage effect," said one person to a local Texas TV station. "If you’re not familiar with the entourage effect, I would encourage you to look it up. It is the combination of the effect of THC and CBD together to work together to do a great job. We’re now in the greatest position in the state of Texas to have a combination of THC and CBD products to help those people.”
The good news is, you too can now go big just like Texas. With all of your favorite brands and all of your favorite types of Delta-8, Diamond CBD has you covered. You can now feel the buzz the way you want — and you can do so legally! For example, this summer, get buzzed with Chill Plus Delta-8 Force Squares Gummies Island Mix in 1000X; it’s a high dose Delta-8 THC gummy that tastes as good as it buzzes. Or, for those of you that prefer vaping, there’s Liquid Gold Delta-8 Vape Pen in our Train Wreck strain. It’s 900mg of pure gold Delta-8 THC. And for the experts out there, we have Chill Plus Delta-8 THC Premium Kief Pre-Roll in our Cherry Wine strain. Enjoy 90mg of Delta-8 infused kief.
“Now we have Delta 10 and Delta 8," local Texas TV noted. "Delta 10 is another form of THC…It’s another step up slightly different.” Here at Diamond CBD, we do too. Try our Hyper Delta-10 THC products, including gummies and vapes.
Things may be bigger in Texas, but now with Delta-8 THC, they’re legal too. Thanks, Texas!
