My 16 year old Schipperke is doing well on cbd. She has dimentia and was put on trazadone to calm her at night to go to sleep. It no longer worked after 2 months. I told her vet that i gave her some cbd and that calmed her even better , he decided to try her on it and stop the drug trazadone. It works and is much safer. I have also decrease the amount of her seizure medication, she just wouldn't take it 3 times a day any more. The cbd is working for that too. My vet is so happy. He truly believes in cbd and so do i. The only problem, she is having a hard time chewing lately, i might be trying cbd oil soon. Until then i just break up the treats into tiny pieces. But it is a wonderful thing for old dogs with severe problems. No danger of overdose with dangerous drugs. Pet owners should try it. Cbd helped me and now my little girl.
