Absolutely! THCP is a psychoactive compound, meaning its effects make you feel high. As a matter of fact, THCP is stronger than other popular cannabinoids, such as delta 8 and delta 9. Upon its discovery, researchers found that THCP was around 33x more likely to bind with CB1 receptors than delta 9, making it 33x more potent! To put things in perspective, the average dose of delta 9 is 10mg. The equivalent dose for THCP? 0.3mg. Not only is THCP psychoactive, it is the singular most potent cannabinoid we have!

There is no research that suggests that THCP is any more dangerous than other THC analogs. It has the same effects on the body as THC; however, THCP is a lot more potent. Like, a lot more potent. Thus, its main dangers come in the form of discomforts (anxiety, paranoia, dry mouth, red eyes, etc.) that you would feel if you ingested too much THC.
