Well not sure what it does chemically , although my heart increases and blood flows more quickly through this body , afterward the sense of ease in the body is calmer. As I have gotten familiar with the actions in the body there is more acceptance of what is happening and the experience is smoother. For me it does not feel addictive more like sprucing up the flow of blood so making the body more at ease to function with. Hope this makes some sense
