Do you have a CBD dosage chart I can follow?
Yes, for best results with your CBD oil or other CBD products, follow this chart based on your weight:
What is Hemp Oil?
Like CBD Oil, Hemp Oil is produced from the hemp plant. However, it is extracted a bit differently. Hemp Oil comes from the leaves, buds, and stem of the hemp plant. It can still retain many of the phytocannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids found naturally in hemp, just like CBD oil. Don’t confuse hemp oil with hemp seed oil, which is produced by pushing the oil out of the seeds.
What are the different ways to extract CBD oil?
While here at Diamond CBD we use supercritical CO2 extraction, as it produces the cleanest and purest CBD oil possible, there are other ways to extract CBD from the hemp plant. They include:
- Olive Oil Extraction method
- Dry Ice Extraction method
- Solvent Extraction method
What is CBD Isolate?
CBD isolate is a CBD product where all other cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids have been removed from the compound, leaving only pure, unadulterated CBD oil. It is the purest form of CBD oil.
What is Broad Spectrum CBD oil?
Like Full spectrum CBD oil, Broad Spectrum CBD oil contains all of the other cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids found in the hemp plant. However, the THC has been entirely extracted out of Broad-spectrum CBD (whereas full spectrum still contains up to 0.3 percent THC). Together they work in a synergistic way to produce the entourage effect in your body.
What is Full spectrum CBD oil?
Full-spectrum CBD oil is a CBD oil or other CBD product that contains all of the other cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids found in the hemp plant. Together they work in a synergistic way to produce the entourage effect in your body.
What’s the difference between a CBD oil and a CBD tincture?
When you take a CBD oil, your taking pure CBD. You may try full-spectrum CBD oil, which includes all of the other cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids the hemp plant has to offer, but for all intends and purposes, you're still taking CBD. On the other hand, a CBD tincture is a potent formula that mixes CBD with different carrier oils like hemp oil. Together they help your body naturally absorb the CBD.
What are flavonoids?
As we noted in one of our blog postings recently, “Flavonoids consist of groupings of polyphenolic compounds that perform as secondary metabolites to countless fungi and plants. With well over 6,000 different varieties of flavonoids already discovered, their effects and functions span across a diverse spectrum.” One of the primary purposes of flavonoids is to provide color to plants, among other things.
What are CBD terpenes?
In all plants, terpenes are the building blocks for their anatomy. To throw out some scientific jargon, terpenes are groupings of hydrocarbons responsible for the scents, smells, and flavors in just about every plant. So, when your favorite strain has a lemon smell, you can thank terpenes, for example. Common terpenes are pinene, linalool, humulene, terpinolene, and limonene.
Do you sell any CBG products?
We do! Our Hemp Delight line of whole flower CBD products includes a strain of CBG white flower. It’s a whole flower, back-to-basics CBG product teeming with the rustic scent of lemon and diesel. You can experience a full spectrum plant that’s filled with terpenes, flavonoids, and other cannabinoids, all of which are centered around CBG.
What is Cannabigerol (CBG)?
CBG is a precursor to all of the other popular cannabinoids that receive all of the attention. In other words, it does all of the hard work but receives none of the credit. Think of it this way, CBG-A, which is the acidic form of the cannabinoid CBG, eventually breaks down when heated to become all of your other favorite cannabinoids, including CBD, THC, CBG, and even a few you’ve really never heard of before like CBC or cannabichromene.
Which type of products can be considered full spectrum?
Many of our CBD products are full-spectrum products, including CBD oil, CBD edibles, CBD gummies, CBD creams, CBD topicals, CBD capsules, CBD drinks, and so many more.
What other cannabinoids are found in full spectrum hemp?
Full-spectrum CBD includes a wide array of cannabinoids, including, but not limited to:
- THCA: A form of tetrahydrocannabinol when heated up or burned.
- CBDA: A form of CBD that is abundant in hemp plants. It converts into CBD when heated.
- CBN: When tetrahydrocannabinol degrades, it produces CBN. CBN works well in combination with CBD.
- CBG: Another potent cannabinoid with great potential.
- THCV: This is structurally similar to THC, though with different effects.
Is it safe to travel with CBD?
Yes! The 2018 Farm Bill made hemp-derived CBD completely legal, meaning it is safe to travel with CBD wherever you go. You can take it on a train, a plane, in a car, or anywhere else. There’s no need to hide your CBD oil. You can proudly carry it with you out in the open.
Can I use too much of your CBD Sauces and Salad Dressings?
Our CBD Sauces and Salad Dressings are some of our most popular edibles to date. They can be used when you grill, in the kitchen, or as a snack all on their own in some cases. These products are low-dose CBD products, so you can feel comfortable taking a second helping.
How can I use Whole Flower Hemp CBD?
Whole Flower Hemp CBD products are all-natural and directly from the hemp plant. They can be vaped (we recommend using a dry herb vape for the best results) or be eaten like an edible. However, you choose to use your whole flower product, we believe that you will love the experience.
